Reliance Jio, the company that brought a revolution in the telecom industry by launching two successive free offers, Welcome Offer and Happy New Year, had launched another Summer Suprise offer that promised the three months complimentary free services on becoming the prime subscriber of Reliance Jio and paying the initial fee by April 15.

But, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has ordered Reliance Jio Infocomm to withdraw their Summer Surprise offer.

This order will give relief to the rival companies such as Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India, and Idea Cellular. Reliance Jio has accepted the order and Mukesh Ambani added that Reliance Jio has accepted the decision. From now on users will need to subscribe to its previously announced monthly paid plans, with voice remaining free for life.

As per the source,

Jio is in the process of fully complying with the regulator’s advice, and will be withdrawing the three months complimentary benefits of Jio Summer Surprise as soon as operationally feasible, over the next few days.

But people who have already subscribed the offer does not have to worry because they will get the benefit of Jio’s Summer Surprise offer and they will enjoy its free services for next three months. Jio hasn’t withdrawn the offer yet, therefore, whosoever will subscribe their prime offer now will become eligible for the Summer Surprise offer.
