Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer) Educational Qualification

1.General Duty (Male)

• Candidates who completed their Bachelor Degree From any Recognized Board/University with minimum 60% marks in Aggregate of all semesters.

2.General Duty (Pilot) (Male)

• Candidates must have completed Intermediate or Upto with Mathematics and Physics as subjects with 60% marks As Aggregate in Mathematics and Physics.

3.Commercial Pilot Entry (CPL) (Male/Female)

• Candidates having current/Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued/Validated by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Minimum education Qualification- 12^th passes (Physics and Maths) with 605 Marks in Aggregate.

Note- Short Service Appointment as Assistant Commandant is for a period of 08 years, which may be extended to 10 years and further 0065 tenable Upto 14 years.

Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer) Payscale

The promotions to the ranks will be as per the laid down promotion criteria.The pay scales for the various ranks are as per the 7thCPC are as follows:-

• Assistant Commandant-Rs.56,100/-
• Deputy commandant- Rs.67,700/-
• Commandant-Rs.78,800/-
• Commandant-Rs.118500/-
• Deputy Inspector General -Rs. 131100/-
• Inspector General- Rs.144200/-
• Additional Director General-Rs.144200/-
• Director General-Rs.205400/-

The other pay and allowances are admissible as per the rules and regulation in addition to the above pay scale.

• 01st Jul 1994 to 30th Jun 1998(Both dates inclusive)

2.General Duty (Pilot) (Male)

• 01st Jul 1994 to 30th Jun 2000(Both dates inclusive).

3.Commercial Pilot Entry (CPL) (Male/Female)

• 01st Jul 1994 to 30th Jun 2000(Both dates inclusive).
